Performances at GoLive
Thank you to writer Donald Hutera who invited us to perform in this beautiful festival at the Giant Olive Theatre in Kentish Town a few days ago. Presenting the work in progress to an audience in this theatre context was encouraging, reassuring us that the ideas of the work connect with an audience.
Audience comments include:
'The piece should be called DRAWin'
'Keep it real, I really enjoyed watching the dancers work out their material from the drawings'
'The choreographed materials create a nice contrast to the spontaneous interpretations and make these more enjoyable'

Drawing and Movement
Here is a presentation of some inspiring work by digital media artists Paul Kaiser, Marc Downie and Shelley Eshkar, who formed the Open Ended Group. Paul Kaiser talks about how he in his former role as a teacher observed children drawing, their focus and gestures, and how this did have an influence on him in developing his own artistic work - an obsession with lines that led to collaborations with a wide range of artists including Merce Cunningham.
